Since 1990 after getting the status of Post Graduate Department in the year 1990, both U.G. and P.G courses are being run by the  Department.

B.Sc. in Zoology course follow Choice-based Credit System (CBCS) as notified by the Chancellor of Universities in Bihar vide Letter No. BSU (UGC) - 02/2023 - 871/(GS) Dated 09/06/2023.

M.Sc. in Zoology courses also follow Choice-based Credit System (CBCS) as notified by the Chancellor of Universities in Bihar.
